From Kiwi brand Triumph & Disaster, Shearer's Soap is made from a translucent base high in glycerin, a natural humectant that attracts moisture, making the soap incredibly gentle on your skin. Poppy seeds assist exfoliation and provide a massaging effect which works in combination with the natural fragrance to create a complete cleansing experience.

Gentle on the skin, strong on the nose. Not likely to be "borrowed" by wives or girlfriends.

I think I'll keep buying this soap.

Strong-smelling, exfoliating soap. Definitely a manly smell. If you like being clean AND smelling butch. This is the one for you.

Good smell, bad consistency

This soap smells great and leaves you feeling very clean. Unfortunately the bar becomes very soft after 10 or so uses and disintegrates in your hands as you use it. Large clumps of soap fall off as you make up a lather and litter the shower floor. If the soap could remain more solid throughout repeated use then it would be great, however because of the problem with its consistency I won’t be buying it again.

Hi Rory, we recommend letting your Shearer's Soap (or any soap, for that matter) dry out well between uses. We have soap holders from Block Dock and Tooletries to help with that.
