I started shaving with a safety razor but went to the cartridge type when they came out, I have used electric razors but not been happy with the job they do,
I bought the Muhle R89. I have been using it for a week.
At first it was messy, I cut myself as I was using it like the multiblade cartridge type. Each time I use it I'm better. now no bleeding.
I learned to use very little pressure and go slower. The R89 leaves my skin smoother and I think my skin will improve using the safety razor..
The only negative I found was initially the handle seemed too short and was slippery if my hands were wet. I'm getting the hang of it now.
