Mitchells Wool Fat Soap was created in 1930 by Fred Mitchell. It is said that sheep-shearers have exceptionally soft hands, due to the lanolin in the fleeces they handle. Lanolin is renowned for its emollient properties. With regular use its effect on the skin is to smooth and soften. People with sensitive skin or dry skin find it particularly calming.
Natural lanolin derived from the wool fat in the sheep fleece is one of the key ingredients of the ancient Mitchells Wool fat recipe.

I have been using Mitchell's wool fat Shaving soap now for several years and love the fact how easily it produces a good lather for a great shave. I originally purchased the Mitchell's wool fat Shaving soap holder and now just buy refills once it runs out. It lasts for a very long time. Try it out you won't be disappointed !
Gave up on aerosol shaving foams a while ago and started using Taylor of Old Bond Street shaving cream which was quite good, but after reading a few reviews I decided to try Mitchells Wool Fat shaving soap, this stuff is great, gives a smooth shave and lasts for ages, recommended.
