Directions:

Wash your face, best done with hot washcloth or after shower to soften beard hair. Apply JS Sloane Shave Cream with your fingertips or shave brush and lather up in a circular motion until entire area is covered. This process will further help soften and exfoliate skin for an easier shave. Start on one side of your face and slowly work towards the other side working on small areas at a time using short light downward strokes. Remember keep blade clean at all times, and after shaving rinse face with warm water, and finish by rinsing with cold water to soothe skin and pat dry with towel.

No joy

If you enjoy smearing fatty paste on your face and then to avoid clogging the razor 'thoroughly rinse' the razor after each pass then this is the product for you. I made the mistake of trying to create a rich lather with bowl and brush - it just doesn't happen. Bewildered I read the label to see you're supposed to apply it directly to wet skin. The right amount of water and rubbing and the paste turns into a thin layer of bubbles. Apparently it "will not clog your blades" but you also need to "clean blades at all times". Well at some time I didn't on my fresh disposable because it certainly clogged it up good! It is supposed to leave skin "moisturized" which would explain the fatty film on my hand afterwards. I usually use a straight razor but just don't have the confidence with this product. The rest of the pottle will probably end up in the bin.
