Merkur 23C Long Handled Safety Razor

Easy to use for those new to safety razors. Works satisfactorily on legs, underarms & faces.

I picked up this razor looking for a more sustainable and cost-effective option. I love it. The first time I tried it, I wasn't sure that it was actually removing any hair -- put this turns out to be partly because of how super-sharp the razor blades are, and an abundance of caution using zero pressure. I got the hang of it on the second shave. It's so satisfying, and it gives me a really close shave. The long handle makes leg shaving very easy.

Had one of these for last few years but left it on holiday so jumped straight online to buy a new one. This is a fantastic razor for females.

The shaver arrived fast which was great. It is definitely a merkur and it seems to shave ok. But it definitely isn’t black like the one I ordered. So other than those few things I’m actually not sure what type of shaver I’m supposed to be reviewing.
