Shipping within NZ

Shipping is charged at one of the following flat rates, whatever the size of your order:

  • Standard deliveries: $5.00
  • Rural Delivery: $8.25

Please choose the correct option at checkout.  Rural Delivery addresses are those which contain an "RD" code such as RD2.  If you are not sure, you can check with the address and postcode finder on the NZ Post website.

We use Courierpost's overnight delivery service, which targets next working day delivery.  This is not guaranteed, but in practice it is usually achieved.  Rural Delivery will take a little longer, of course.
Occasionally we may need to ship a particularly bulky parcel by Parcelpost, which will take another day or so.

We aim to despatch your order the next working day after receipt of your payment, or even the same day if possible.  In exceptional circumstances we may require another working day - but this hasn't happened yet!

Shipping to Australia

Shipping to Australia is by airmail (not tracked) at a cost of $10.  We are not responsible for taxes and duties levied by Australian authorities (but last time we looked Australian Customs did not charge GST on mail order imports valued at less than AUS$ 1,000)  Target delivery time is 3-6 working days.

Please note, we cannot ship most aftershaves, fragrances and pre-electric shave to Australia as these are classed as "Dangerous Goods" due to their high alcohol content.  Most products called "balm" or "balsam" etc are fine.

International Shipping

Sorry, we only ship to New Zealand and Australia at present.  We do however accept orders from the following countries for delivery to New Zealand addresses:

  • United Kingdom
  • Ireland
  • United States
  • Canada

Secure Ordering and payment

All transactions are securely processed outside this site by Shopify Payments - we never even see your credit card details.

You can also pay by bank transfer - just choose the appropriate option at checkout.

Privacy Policy

We do not collect any of your financial details - this is all handled by Shopify Paymentsl.

We will never pass on your email or physical address to a third party.

We will not send you marketing emails unless you have specifically asked to receive our newsletter.  We will immediately unsubscribe you on request.

If you give us your telephone number during the checkout process, we will only use it to contact you if there are problems with your order.
